Zeta Phi Chapter Volunteers at Maine Seacoast Mission

The longstanding teamwork of Sigma Kappa Sorority and the Maine Seacoast Mission continues. A group of Zeta Phi Chapter members, Rutgers University, under the guidance of Mission Housing Repair Program Coordinator Scott Shaw, volunteered this summer with the Mission in Cherryfield. They participated in demolition work to prepare several homes for their complete rehabilitation this summer. The students also helped unload Senior Commodity Food to be distributed by the Mission.

This philanthropic project was made possible by the 1874 Giving Circle Grant. The Maine Seacoast Mission project was submitted by the Zeta Phi Chapter and by popular vote was selected as one of the six projects funded this year through the Sigma Kappa Foundation.
