Louise Helen Coburn Excellence in Alumnae Relations Award
Louise Helen Coburn was one of the five Founders of Sigma Kappa. Born September 1, 1856, she was the last Founder to pass away on February 7, 1949. She was the second woman to graduate from Colby after Mary Low Carver and was the second woman Phi Beta Kappa at Colby. She wrote the original Constitution and Bylaws and much of the ceremony of Initiation.
