When does it start?
March 1. You can start at any time, you have all of March and April to complete the required activities and submit your entry.
When do I need to submit my Spring Thing entry?
April 30. You can submit whenever you like during March and April.
Will you accept Spring Thing entries after April 30?
No. All entries must be submitted by 11:59:59pm on April 30.
I’m not a member of a local or virtual alumnae chapter. How do I become involved?
You can click here to pay your $30 national alumnae dues and select the chapter you would like to become a member of. Check out the chapter map to find the closest alumnae chapter. Your alumnae chapter leadership will then connect with you! If there is no alumnae chapter near you, you can join the virtual alumnae chapter.
When will the winner be announced?
The winner will be announced through a random drawing on or about May 1.
I can’t attend convention. Can I redeem the Grand Prize of a trip to convention at a later date?
No, the grand prize winner must be able to attend convention in Ponte Vedra, FL June 20 through June 23.
Do I have to complete all sixteen activites to enter?
No, the only four required activities are the colored squares: "Give Us Your Digits"; "Say Cheese!"; "Maine Attraction" and "Strong PULSE." When you are ready to enter, you will upload a photo and answer two trivia questions. The other squares are just for fun!
I am a national volunteer/advisor and my Convention expenses are already paid for -- am I eligible to win?
You are! National volunteers can definitely win. Since all convention expenses are already covered by the national organization, the prize will be limited to the Sigma Kappa guest. Advisors, corporation board members, and other local volunteers can win as well. If a local chapter has already covered the costs of the winner to attend convention, the local chapter will be reimbursed.
