Since 1984, the Colby Award has been presented to 71 Sigma Kappa alumnae at the national convention in recognition of their career achievements. The Colby Award, named in honor of Colby College where Sigma Kappa was founded in 1874, is the highest honor bestowed upon alumnae members by the national organization and nominees for this award must be nationally known in their area of expertise.

  • Any personal, lived and Sigma Kappa experiences that this member has been involved with that makes them stand out as a distinguished alumna.
