    Full Time Registration Packages


    Includes registration fees, convention meals, and hotel accommodations based on the selected occupancy.
     
    Full Time Package with Single Occupancy
    • If registered by May 12: $1,210
    • If registered between May 13-June 7: $1,260
     
    Full Time Package with Double Occupancy
    • If registered by May 12: $870
    • If registered between May 13-June 7: $920
     

    Registration Fees


    The registration fee is the personal responsibility of each attendee. Register early to avoid additional costs. Payment in full must be made at the time of registration to be considered a confirmed registrant. Online registration must be completed no later than June 7, 2010.
     
    Registration Fees (July 7-11, 2010)
    • If registered by May 12 (early-bird): $230
    • If registered between May 13-June 7: $280
    Daily Registration Fee (per day)
    • If registered by May 12 (early-bird): $50
    • If registered between May 13-June 7: $80

    Hotel Accommodations


    Price varies based on room occupancy selected.  If a registrant is family members attend the conference, please email Angie Naniot Ahrens, aahrens@sigmakappa.org, to discuss room arrangements.
    • Single Room: $170 per night
    • Double Room: $85 per night

     

    Meal Functions


    Welcome Banquet, Thursday Breakfast, Panhellenic Luncheon, Friday Breakfast, Foundation Luncheon, Confirmed Conventionite Celebration, Alumnae Showcase and the Achievement Banquet are included if a full time registration package is purchased.

    Saturday’s Alumnae Showcase will feature light hors d’oeuvres. Please note this is not a full luncheon and alternative dining arrangements should be made.  If attending the Alumnae Showcase, daily registration is required.  If only attending other banquets, registration is not required.

    Optional Items: Ground Transportation & Park Outing


    Ground Transportation
    Sigma Kappa has arranged ground transportation between the Orlando World Center Marriott and the Orlando International Airport.  To take advantage of this transportation, please purchase and provide your transportation information when registering.  All other arrangements are the responsibility of the attendee.
    • One-Way Ground Transportation (each way): $20
    • Round Trip Ground Transportation (to and from the conference): $40
    Park Outing
    Sigma Kappa Sorority is providing the opportunity to enjoy the magic of Walt Disney World® on Thursday evening.  This optional activity is $60 per person, and includes an afternoon pass to the Magic Kingdom and shuttle service.  Buses will begin shuttling Sigma Kappa members, friends, and family to the park at 4:00 p.m., with continual service to and from the hotel through 11:00 p.m.


     

    Cancellation and Change Policies


    Everyone is subject to the following cancellation or change policies:
    • All fees (registration, meals, ground transportation, etc.) are non-refundable after June 7.
    • Hotel reservations canceled after June 7 are subject to a $350 cancellation fee.
    • A handling fee of $50 will be charged for any change of representation.
    • Attendees must inform Sigma Kappa national headquarters in writing if they must cancel or change their registration to ensure no further fees are charged. If canceling, please contact Angie Ahrens, director of events, at aahrens@sigmakappa.org.

     Extra Expenses


    The following are extra expenses you may incur during convention:
    • Meals in transit to and from the Orlando World Center Marriott 
    • Transportation (via car or airplane)
    • Ground transportation to and from the airport, if not purchased on the registration form
    • Thursday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, Sunday meals and any meal not purchased on the registration form
    • Optional Walt Disney World® Outing (can be purchased on the registration form)
    • Shop Sigma Kappa items
    • Special photographs
    • Extra hotel services such as phone calls, room service, dry cleaning, internet connection, etc.
    • Tips for hotel and transportation personnel

     

     Tipping Guideline


    • Airport porters, doormen, hotel bellhops - $2 per bag
    • Taxi drivers - 15% of your fare
    • Valet - $2 each time you receive your car
    • Hotel housekeeping - $2 per day per person
    • Waiters and room service if not already included in bill - 15% of bill
