Sigma Kappa Sorority

    Sigma Kappa is seeking a volunteer to serve as the Director of New Member Education. The director of new member education works under the supervision of the national vice president for programming. Experience as a former collegiate vice president of new member education, advisor, or national officer is helpful, but not necessary. Occasional travel for chapter visits may be required. Attendance at Collegiate Officer's Training School (COTS) and Convention is expected.

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Annual assess and update the Promise Program and handbook for the vice president of new member education.
    • Work with chapters and advisors as needed to develop a comprehensive new member program incorporating all aspects of the Promise Program.
    • Offer creative and productive ideas to strengthen new member programs to collegians and advisors.
    • Prepare and facilitate programs related to new member education at COTS and Convention.
    • Facilitate workshops with individual chapters as needed.
