Licensing Policy
Sigma Kappa's licensing policy is designed to protect the Sorority's trademarks from improper use and trademark infringement. The national organization wons the trademarks of "Sigma Kappa," the phrase "One Heart One Way." the Coat -of-Arms, and the letters "Sigma" and "Kappa." Sigma Kappa's licensing program, through Shop Sigma Kappa, works to stop companies who infringe (use without our permission) upon our marks or give them permission and control how they use the marks. The following is Sigma Kappa's licensing policy, as contained in the National Policy Handbook, XX. Licensing.
XX. Licensing

As specified in the Constitution and Bylaws, the ownership of all insignia and emblems including the name Sigma Kappa and/or its Greek letters SK shall be owned by Sigma Kappa Sorority, a corporation. These insignia and emblems, including the name Sigma Kappa and its Greek letters SK, shall not be manufactured, created, used, or offered for sale by any person, company, or firm except as specifically authorized in writing and administered by national council.
